Gratefulshrink One of the best opening tracks for any album ever. It draws you in....and then you are glued to the rest! I have loved this band for years, but I am just now (2024) appreciating the 2019 re-masters of their main albums. The band did evolve away from a more Krautrock style, but the female harmonies were the consistent siren-song that kept calling me back. Favorite track: Metronomic Underground.

Dave Jones to me this was one of their commercial successes as I heard more of this album places I used to go and on tv. or maybe I hung out in cool places and watched the right stuff. Favorite track: Percolator.

Les_Insufferables This may very well be my favorite of Stereolab's albums. I feel it best shows the full depth and breadth of their sound and style. Definitely a crucial part of the "Essential Stereolab". Favorite track: OLV 26.

Bartleby This album is singular in its musicality and intelligence. Still breathtaking, moving and beautiful after all these years: A modern masterpiece at the verge of perfection! Favorite track: Metronomic Underground.

Magic in its purest form. I love Floating Points, I love Pharoah Sanders, I love The London Symphony Orchestra. It's a match made in heaven, and the result is absolutely gorgeous. I have loved this record since its release, and realized I don't own it for some reason. So its time to change that. 9.5/10 honestly could become a 10/10 on an indepth vinyl relisten. angrypizza98
